My weekly sometimes daily rants about the Philadelphia area and its suburbs (mostly Chester County). Everything from the ignorant and often arrogant Philly fans to the backwards mentality here. Gotta love PA!
I would like to think that Philadelphia women gamble with their wardrobe, but the truth is they don't even risk trying anything new. Why is it that women in Philly, the suburbs in particular, all wear the f&%$ing uniform? You know the one. They all wear the same thing. Whether it's the window display at Banana Republic, or the horrible mixing of textiles, whenever you park in a strip mall outside of Philly, all the women look like shit.
For example. How on earth can you, Miss 1.3 kids with hubby's SUV wear flip f&*%ing flops with a wool sweater? Isn't that an oxymoron? Beachwear on your feet and winterwear up top?
Even worse, wool slacks and heels with a fleece top? Did North Face pay you to wear it? Mamma mia!
How about the classic turtleneck with cut-off sleeves? Really? Turtleneck with no sleeves? Who on earth said that was OK? The anchorwoman on 6ABC perhaps.
Sheesh. Absolutely no individuality out in Philly. All the women look like a cookie cutter got to them. And they all look like an episode of What-Not-to-Wear.
